BYU is a private university owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose general membership has committed to not using alcohol, tobacco, coffee, or tea. Accordingly, no smoking or drinking of alcohol, coffee, or tea is permitted on the BYU campus, though other caffeinated beverages are allowed. Those who desire to smoke must do so off campus. Many local businesses do offer alcohol, coffee, and tea.
We understand that many of those who participate in and attend our programs have not made the same commitment as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We apologize for the inconvenience.
BYU students also commit to an Honor Code that requires them to wear clothing that is neat, clean, and modest in fabric, fit, style, and length. While on campus, those attending or participating in conferences also are asked to wear modest clothing. However, the facial hair restrictions required of BYU students do not apply to conference attendees.
We also ask that our program attendees keep their language free of obscenities and other vulgarity while on the BYU campus.
For details about the BYU Honor Code, you may visit the BYU Honor Code website.
Thank you for helping us to maintain the standards that make BYU the exceptional university it is. We hope you enjoy your stay on campus.
Information coming soon.
Registration for all dance camps begins at 9:00 a.m. on February 12, 2019 except for the following programs. Please see their respective pages for details.
Participants may register in person, online, or by telephone. Registrations will not be finalized until BYU Conferences and Workshops receives parental consent, participant medical information, and participant agreement, which will be requested at the time of registration. Due to high demand, some camps fill up very quickly. Registering early is recommended. Full tuition must be paid at the time of registration. No deposits will be accepted. Except for Ballet Workshops, walk-ins will be accepted in each program on a space-available basis only. For walk-in registration, please call ahead to check on the status of the program. When you receive your receipt, please open it immediately and check that all information (camp dates, payment amount, etc.) is correct. Notify us immediately if any of the information is incorrect.
Only a participant and his or her parents have authority to request a refund. Full refunds, minus the $25 nonrefundable portion of camp tuition, will be given on all cancellations requested by 4:00 p.m. 30 days before the program begins. Please see the individual program web pages for specific deadlines.
The simplest way to cancel a registration is to log into the participant’s account online and process the withdrawal yourself. You can also call 801-422-8925 to cancel a camp registration.
To transfer from one dance program to another, you will need to withdraw from the first program and then register for the new program. The customer can complete this online or by calling 801-422-8925. If the transfer is completed online, you will see the credit (minus the nonrefundable $25). This credit can be applied to the new program. If the new program is less expensive, you will receive a refund; if the cost is higher, you can pay any additional fees online.
When transferring from a housing to a non-housing section (or vice versa), there is no fee. You can complete this online or call 801-422-8925.
